Ok so I just joined this site called Lockerz (www.lockerz.com). Basically it just started this year and is still in it's beta stages, but one can earn points by doing stuff on the site and can exchange those points for prizes. These prizes range from game systems and games, computers, TVs, jewelry, clothing... Basically whoever sponsors them I guess. So far as of today, it seems points can only be earned by signing in (2 points/day), answering the daily question (2 points/day), and by inviting other people (2 points/person). However, the site says once the full version is up, users should be able to earn points by watching videos, playing games, etc. eventually for a total of 15 ways to earn points.

Now I realize I may just be walking into a scam, so I just made up a new email so if I start getting masses of spam I'll just ignore it. The only personal info they asked for was my name and shipping address, and if they start sending me junk through the mail I can always block that too, or use it to feed my pyromania. So I figure the moment they ask for my credit card or anything I'll just quit there. With all that in mind what is there to lose? I figured I'd take a chance and try it out.

I looked online and it seems a lot of people have already gotten prizes like PSPs and Xbox 360s. You can see them on ([link]), haha the guy sounds like an infomercial... Now I don't know if that really counts as proof, but it's evidence enough that I want to at least give it a shot. Been on for 2 days now and I have 19 ptz (when you first join you get a one time offer to earn points in a pong-like game). I was caught off guard so I didn't make many points lol. It seems Lockerz is hoping to get lots of sponsors who'll supply them with the prizes and give them their income. The sponsor gets survey statistics and other demographic information in return. So it looks like it could be a legitimate business IF it takes off.

To put things in perspective, as of today a 360 or PS3 currently costs 675ptz, DSi 375ptz, 360 and PS3 games are 100ptz. When calculated, I will get at least 4ptz a day so in 25 days I can get a game like Arkham Asylum or COD World at War. That seems pretty amazing so I imagine the prizes will cost more as members join... Which leads to my next topic.
